Leadership Camp
What a fabulous couple of days at Leadership Camp this year! I am so proud of all the students for their amazing attitudes! Fabulous examples of helpfulness, leadership, perseverance, happiness and supportiveness!! We had a very busy couple of days with our climb up Mt Te Aroha, swimming, making our own dinners, listening to an awesome talk by BEN BROWN, overnight in the Rec Centre and a day at Waimarino!

Selfies !
Every term we take photos to put around our whiteboard - this term we had the choice of props to wear! As you can see from our photos we enjoyed taking our photos.
Technology at Te Aroha College
Today was our first day of tech for the year. This year we have metal, cooking, wood and a new class in digital technologies. It was great wandering around and seeing Stanley Ave students in action.

BYOD trial
This term Rooms 1 and 2 are trialling BYOD in their classrooms. A letter was sent home today with our students so look out for it!
If you already have a device at home that you would like to use at school, bring it in!
At our Meet the Teacher evening on the 17th February Mr Spicer and I will discuss the trial further and answer any questions. Feel free to pop in and see us at any stage.

Some photos from this mornings swimming time. It was slightly cold when we first hopped in but the sun eventually began to shine :)
Let's see if we can have everyone with their togs tomorrow.
